There are over 50 libraries in Hampshire and we have one such treasure right on our doorstep. Horndean Library has its home in a picturesque school building. Yet there is nothing quaint or old fashioned about Hampshire Libraries.
Hampshire has one of the largest library services in the country. It is free to join and with over 2 million items of stock your choice will be vast - everything from the latest bestseller to a title in one of the Specialist Collections in the county.
You can search the catalogue and then reserve your choice online. Just decide which library and your book will be sent there for you to collect. You can also renew your book online and return it to any library in the county. And all of this for a 50pence fee – that’s what I call service!
So, what can Horndean Library do for you? Well, the friendly staff are keen to help find the right book for you. They can advise you about suitable authors and interesting book collections. With free parking outside the library, which is open 5 days a week, it couldn’t be easier.
Visit or contact them today and dive into great read for the summer.
