The Clanfield Practice – Closure over Christmas
22nd December 2017
Parking at the church is limited but there is ample on street parking around the area. We have a portable ramp into the church and a sloped entrance into our hall if required, the grounds (if we are outside) are grassed and we will have some chairs out for those less able to stand for longer periods during the readings.
All ages are welcome but caution is needed as one low garden wall is directly next to South Lane. We serve tea and coffee after the service for anyone wishing to stay and share a time of fellowship. (there are toilets in the hall)
There’s no charge, but if you would like to make a donation for the upkeep of this beautiful village church a collection is taken during the service.
Sunday 9 April is the beginning of Holy Week. On Palm Sunday, we receive our Palm crosses and this year we hear the story of the last week of Jesus’ life as written by St Matthew.
Weather permitting most of this service will take place outside in the church grounds. As we journey around the grounds we visit the different places in His story.
There are no current events related to this one.
