Countryside Canines - HCC

We want to hear your views about how to make the countryside a safe and fun place for all its visitors. So, this summer, we’re inviting you to come along to one of our roadshows to meet our rangers and suggest your ideas. We especially want to discuss issues around responsible dog walking. Ideas to bring to the roadshow can include ways to help people keep dogs under effective control when outdoors, as well as practical methods for cleaning up poo! At the roadshow, rangers can explain the 'traffic light system' too. The system – using paw printed signage – is in operation at Danebury and lets visitors know where dogs can and can’t be off lead. The plan is to roll it out across the county in the near future.
