RAPP & Get Activ8d are back for February half term fun!
The East Hampshire District Council Rural Areas Play Project (RAPP) and Get Activ8d will be out entertaining youngsters in the area this half term.
Get Activ8d is a sport project for seven to 14-year-olds. February half term will include activities such as street dance, cheerleading, hula hooping, tennis, and a previous attendee favourite - climbing. All activities are £4 except climbing which is £6.
RAPP began in 2006 thanks to a Big Lottery Grant and investment from Hampshire County Council along with a need for more activities during in the school holidays.
RAPP will have a visit from Mr Giant, a children’s entertainer, on Tuesday 21 February at the Avenue Pavilion in Petersfield. Mr Giant’s visit will feature a circus skills workshop, magic show and balloon modelling.
The rest of the half term week of fun will include a teddy bear hunt around Alice Holt Forest near Farnham and natural craft sessions.
The core RAPP age group is five years and older and costs £4 per child per session, £2 for four year olds and under four year olds are free.

“It is always great to see the fun that everyone has when RAPP and Get Activ8d are in the area. It doesn’t matter what the weather is doing, even in February, there is always plenty of fun to join in with.
“Both schemes continue to go from strength to strength and the activities on offer are versatile and suitable for all.”
