Couch Potato to 5K – step in the right direction

Clanfield Joggers are giving you the chance to dig out the running kit and dust off your trainers for another Couch Potato to 5K running course starting at 6pm on Wednesday 8 March at Peel Park.  There are still a few places left and they want you to step up to the mark and join them.

Couch potato, limp lettuce or soggy carrot - whatever vegetable you identify yourself with, the welcoming runners of Clanfield Joggers will be there to support and guide you every step of the way.  They were beginners once so they understand the challenges as they help you realise your goal.

Why is it important to take advantage of this course right now?  Well. the Clanfield Challenge 2017 will be held on Sunday 14 May 2017 and you won’t want to miss the opportunity to run in this amazing local run.  There are 700 runners expected to take part this year, but places are going fast so you will need to be match fit for this amazing run taking place in the South Downs National Park.

We are being encouraged every day by our families, our GP’s and our own good common sense to be more active.  There is a long list of health complaints that are the result of inactivity but don’t pull on those trainers just for that reason. Running is a lot of fun, especially when you join a group of people who are at the same level of fitness as you – you will learn, improve and enjoy the journey.

So, get up off that sofa and book your place on Couch Potato to 5K today.
