Neighbourhood Watch Needs You

Clanfield Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) are just looking for community-minded residents who would like to get involved in a group for their street.  Whether it is to set up or help others to run a NHW scheme – we would like to hear from you.

We are particularly interested if you have recently moved to Clanfield and live in one of the new village developments such as St James Place.

The Neighbourhood Watch scheme helps to:

  • reduce opportunities for crime
  • build a community spirit, with neighbours working together for everybody's benefit
  • pass information to the police about suspicious incidents occurring in the neighbourhood

We can offer:

  • Advice and support to start a NHW group in your street
  • Provision of NHW street and door stickers
  • Trading Standards stickers ‘No cold callers’
  • Reduction in house insurance costs as part of a registered scheme
  • We are also shortly planning to make available Credit Card plastic "holders" that prevent unauthorised scanning of Contact-less Credit/Debit cards.

Interested? Please contact or talk to your local Community Police Officer
