A garden bench was stolen from a retirement complex in the early hours of Wednesday 25 July.
Swallow Court, located in East Meon Road close to St James Church, was targeted at 01.00 last Wednesday morning. Two young men, driving an estate car, were observed removing a garden bench from the courtyard of this assisted-living development of 52 self-contained flats.
The manager of Swallow Court wanted to ensure that other residents in the village were aware of thieves in the area, who are prepared to remove garden furniture or any size – so be aware.
