Clanfield Community Pre-school requires a permanent qualified pre-school assistant.

We are a local, charity run pre-school in the heart of Clanfield village. We provide quality, affordable and stimulating experiences for children aged 2 – 5 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified assistant to join our friendly team.

You would:

  • Act as a key worker providing safe, stimulating and high quality care to children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Adhere to the pre-school policies while contributing to the planning, implementing and recording of activities both indoors and outdoors
  • Support the room leader in supervising and assisting children with their learning and play along with other directed duties throughout the day.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with children and their families

You must:

  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well and enjoy working as part of a team. 
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 Children’s Care Learning & Development or equivalent qualification. 

A current First Aid certificate & Food Hygiene certificate would be preferred but is not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.

Hours of work: 22.5 hours - Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (with possibility of extra hours)

Salary: Dependant on experience

Start date: Monday 1st October 2018

Closing date: Friday 14th September 2018(noon)

Interviews will commence the week beginning Monday 17th September 2018
