Clanfield Challenge Update
Over 400 enthusiastic runners have signed up for the Clanfield Challenge and competition for places will to heat up as we approach the big day on Sunday 20 May. With the Easter weekend on the horizon and more daylight to enjoy spring evenings, it is your chance to dust off those trainers and start to train in earnest.
Clanfield Joggers report that 10 new runners signed up for the Couch to 5K course last week and it is still not too late for you to join them this Wednesday, 28 March at 6pm in Peel Park. They have plenty of experienced leaders and helpers to ensure you achieve your goals. You don’t have to be an experienced runner to join – everyone was new once, so don’t be shy, go along and take the first steps to fitness. http://www.clanfieldonline.com/14/1495/couch-potato-to-5k-running-course-with-clanfield-joggers
The Challenge Committee commented “This is more than just another running event, it is a celebration for the whole family to enjoy a range of activities in a safe environment and promote health and wellbeing, while raising funds for local community projects.”
If you want a chance to test your strength, speed and resolve on Sunday 20 May then you really need to sign up now. In the past two years the Challenge have been fully booked well before this popular event took place. https://www.clanfieldchallenge.co.uk/
