2nd August; the speaker at our Monthly Meeting will be Valerie Archibald talking about a '1200 mile Stroll to Santiago

Valerie Archibald has walked much further than the TV programme on the Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de  Compostela where St James is said to be buried. She went alone aged 60, carrying only 6kgs plus food and water on her back after Easter 2016. She averaged 15 miles a day over three months.

6th September; the talk is ' The Experiences of a Stunt Performer' given by Denise Ryan.

Denise Ryan is an English stunt coordinator, stunt performer and actress who was Cynthia Dale Scott's stunt double as Corporal Dietrich in the 1986 film Aliens. Other notable films Ryan has appeared in include Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) and World War Z (2013).
