Rook’s Way – One Day Path Closure
28th January 2019
We’ve put together another exciting selection of events this year at St Michael’s Church Chalton, including talks, concerts, teatime specials and sing-alongs. All followed by our renowned refreshments of course!
The Havant Pitchpipers on Sunday 19th May at 3pm: This first event is a concert by The Havant Pitchpipers, who sang at our Carol Service last December, providing beautiful harmonies, traditional and some different arrangements of Christmas carols and songs. There is no doubt that they will be delighting everyone once again with their a cappella performance.
Come and Sing on Sunday 2nd June at 3pm: everyone is welcome to “Come & Sing” with Gill Grech, a natural voice practitioner, who will lead us in various styles of songs and chants; raising the roof in four part harmony within a few minutes of learning the words or sounds! Such a joyful and uplifting experience.
Stephen Jones on Sunday 7th June at 3pm: Steven Jones, milliner to the stars, returns for yet another fascinating talk, a real insight into his fabulous world. He’ll bring lots of hats for everyone to try on as well.
Just a taster of some of our summer teatime special community events. Everyone is welcome, so bring friends and family as well.
No tickets, but there will be a retiring collection for the preservation and maintenance of this ancient building.
We will also be hosting in 2019:
Mark the dates in your diary and join us for a memorable event in the beautiful church of St Michael’s, Chalton.
