Clanfield Cricket Club - Winning Day for Cricket Club

The club’s annual Club Day event took play this past Sunday with the Clanfield XI coming out winners by 4 wickets.

Bradders, who was skippering the Invitation XI, won the toss & elected to bat first. The Invitation XI managed 127/8 from 35 overs with Will top scoring with 46. Ben was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets & there were wickets also for Chris W, Chris B & Jugal.

In reply the Clanfield XI knocked off the runs in 29.1 overs to win by 6 wickets, Phil top scoring with 24* to see the Clanfield XI to victory.

A great day had by all, many thanks to everyone who helped make the day a success! 3 fixtures to go in the season, the next one being on Sunday at home to Swanmore.
