Clanfield Cricket Club indoor team suffered a heavy defeat against Railway Triangle last Sunday in the penultimate match of the indoor season.
Captain Mike Collins lost the toss and we were asked to bat first. Clanfield could only manage 86 all out in 10.5 overs, with Matt Bradley top scoring with 19 runs.
In reply Railway Triangle knocked off the runs required in 10 overs without losing a wicket, to inflict Clanfield's second defeat of this indoor season - both defeats coming courtesy of the same opposition.
Despite defeat, Clanfield remain in second place in the league table but are now unable to catch the league leaders Hambledon B, who were confirmed as league winners following Clanfield's defeat.
The indoor season concludes on Sunday 15th March with Clanfield's final game being against the league winners Hambledon B, where Clanfield hope to finish what has been a good season on a high.
