Clanfield Gardening Club digging in colourful plants
Clanfield Gardening Club have been busy this week replanting the community flowerbed for the summer season. Gardening club members planted blue-violet lavender and red geraniums in the flowerbed located on Clanfield Co-op land, beside the main carpark. The club members worked so quickly that they had time to dig in some extra lavender into the wooden planters in Drift Road, so expect a really colourful display this summer.
Clanfield Online funds the flowerbed and the wooden planters, outside the shops, using money provided by their business members. We are also donating plants to the Memorial Hall, Clanfield Bowls Club and Clanfield Sports and Community Centre, who have wooden containers given by this website.
Clanfield Online would like to Greengrocer Nigel Hadwen for sourcing the plants, and Clanfield Gardening Club for their expertise and hard work - please show them your support: https://www.facebook.com/clanfieldgardeningclub/
