Phased opening of Clanfield’s playgrounds and games areas
Clanfield Parish Council has published new conditions of use for its children’s playgrounds which will be reopening, on a phased basis, over the next two weeks. New conditions of use have also been published for the skateboard facility at Peel Park and for the multi-use games area (MUGA) at Windmill View.
Making this announcement today, Diane Duffy, Parish Clerk, added:
“We would like to open all the playgrounds on Saturday 4th July, when the Government’s restrictions are due to be lifted, but we simply can’t do it in the time as each location has to be risk assessed and prepared. We are working hard to get the play area at Peel Park ready for this Saturday and the other play areas at Windmill View and at South Lane Meadow will follow as soon as possible.
“It is really important that people read the notices that we will be putting up and follow the rules. We want our young people to enjoy using these outdoor facilities again but we also want to reduce the risk of the spread of Coronavirus.”
The dates when the play areas at Windmill View and South Lane Meadow will be opened for use will be posted on the Parish Council’s website - http://www.clanfieldpc.org.uk - in due course.
