Home-Start Butser Big Give Christmas Challenge

Families are running on empty.
The pandemic has been hard for all families, but it’s been toughest on those already managing mental health, low incomes, isolation, and other challenges in their lives.

Please help us to help them by donating to our
Big Give Christmas Challenge 2020 - Because Childhood Matters.
Every donation will be doubled!

Last year together you raised over £24,000 to help Home-Start Butser support 88 local families with young children. Our work is needed now more than ever as the Covid-19 pandemic has put families with young children under incredible strain. Adapting to an ever-changing landscape over these last difficult months our wonderful band of volunteers and staff have continued to support 70 local families with young children. We are determined to continue to do everything we can to keep families feeling connected and cared for, and therefore more able to offer their children the best they possibly can.

We are delivering vital food to families, helping with extra items for their children; baby milk, nappies, wipes and offering crafts and play activities for the children. As well as practical help there is a huge and increasing need for support around isolation and in particular mental health. Knowing that someone is there makes a big difference and we are determined to be able to continue this through these next months and beyond.

Please help us reach our target of £14,000 this year, which will become £28,000 with matched funding. Every donation, large and small can make a difference, and will be doubled!
The campaign goes live on 1 December, and lasts for one week, please look out for the link we will send you, and make Christmas a little bit more special for a family this year.  For more information please visit our website
