Clanfield shopping bags – last few remaining…

The last few Clanfield shopping bags are in the local shops, but they are selling fast and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Clanfield Online, funded by local businesses, bought 500 hessian bags printed with an image of the village wellhead and for sale at £3.00 each. Local shops and businesses have generously stocked the bags over the last 18 months: they do not receive any profit, with all proceeds used to support local projects. Website members wanted to be part of the Blue Planet campaign to ‘ditch plastic bags’ and help their community.

Clanfield shopping bags have made an appearance across the world; with one seen on a sandy beach in Antigua and another beside Totem poles in Canada. However, you’re more likely to spot one of these strong and roomy natural fibre bags being used in the village – in our shops and businesses that work hard every day to serve us in these troubled times.

Where to buy the last few Clanfield Shopping Bags?  Budgens, Nigel’s Greengrocer & Florist, Reeve Butcher’s, and Charlie’s Trade Centre. Snap them up today before they become collector’s items!
