Local shop helps Wild Tea Bar
Look out this Saturday, for our local ‘café on wheels’ which will make an appearance outside the Drift Road shops. The Wild Tea Bar TWTB has been unable to use its usual venue of the Peel Park carpark, resulting in disappointed customers and reduced income. Local 36 and Clanfield Trade Centre Charlie's heard the plea for help and stepped in to offer their forecourt, on Drift Road, this Saturday 12 September from 10 – 4pm.
Where would we have been, in the last few months, without our local shops and businesses? They have been working flat out to provide the food, supplies and services we needed. These businesses, who belong to Clanfield Online, look out for each other offering advice and practical help – in this case a prominent forecourt location and seats for customers.
Local 36 said on social media: “We are happy that the lovely Diane from the Wild Tea Bar will be joining us on the forecourt THIS SATURDAY!! Brightening your day with her delicious cakes, teas, coffees, and breakfast delights!” https://www.facebook.com/Localthirtysix
Diane of The Wild Tea Bar is also looking forward to seeing everyone: “I’m doing a little happy dance because I absolutely can’t wait to see you all again. It’s only been just over a week, but I’ve missed your faces.”
Now it’s your turn to do your bit to support Charlie’s, Local 36 and The Wild Tea Bar and all the local businesses. Pop along for a coffee, bacon buttie and lots of cake.
See you there!
