2020 Resolution – love your village

Local walks still very popular
Earlier this year, during the previous lockdown, we published a series of local walks to encourage people to stay fit and well, as they enjoyed our beautiful countryside. These walks have proved popular and we have received many positive comments: “We like the maps and we’ve done 1 & 2 now - when is Walk 3 coming out?”
The popularity of the walks show how much we value footpaths and byways – these public rights of way are our passport of freedom to enjoy the countryside. Many of us have lived in large cities, where a small park was the only option to experience the beauty of trees, flowers, and grass. We are fortunate to live in a village where we can walk into the South Downs with its amazing views, enjoy the paths through the woods and Queen Elizabeth Country Park is just a couple of miles away.
We still have a few weeks to go of this second lockdown, so if you are able to get out and about, then pull on your walking boots and best foot forward. Just in case you missed the walks, the first time round, here they are again – enjoy!
