Farewell to Christmas trees for another year

Clanfield Online helpers will be removing the village Christmas trees this week. The festive lights and baubles will be stowed away and plants restored to the wooden containers. It’s always a little sad to see them go but we can look forward to the magic of the greenery and lights next December.

We would like to thank you for the hundreds of encouraging messages received over the festive period. The Christmas trees have proved even more popular this year than ever before.  I think we all longed for a splash of colour, light and fun in these tough times and the village Christmas trees certainly answered that need.

Clanfield Online use funds, provided by local businesses, to pay for the trees and lights.  We would also like to thank Cllrs Arthur Agate and Ken Moon for their generous donations.

Let’s hope that next December we will be enjoying a festive season with our family and friends around us. Clanfield Online promises to provide the trees and lights!
