Clanfield Nursery School moving to East Meon

Clanfield Nursery School

Clanfield Nursery School, our much loved local nursery school, is moving to a new home in November. CNS owner, Joann Baker, and her team will be packing up during the October half-term ready to welcome children and parents to ‘The Village Nursery’ in East Meon from Monday 1st November.

Clanfield Nursery School is sad to leave St James’s Hall after so many years, but their new home offers far more facilities and opportunity to grow. Joann Baker commented “The children will have space and freedom to learn and thrive in our new East Meon village hall base, which is only 5 miles from the centre of Clanfield. I am delighted to say that nearly every child registered at the nursery will be coming with us in November.”

Clanfield Online is sad to see Clanfield Nursery School leave the village, especially as generations of local children have taken their first steps towards independence with the help of dedicated staff. However, we are sure that The Village Nursery will be a great success and continue to educate Clanfield children. Under Joann’s management, Ofsted awarded the nursery a “Good” rating. Who knows, it might be Outstanding at the next inspection?
