Clanfield car parks closed

Clanfield Parish Council have received notification of an unauthorised encampment of travellers at the bottom of Butser Hill. 

A parish spokesperson made the following comment:

"Clanfield Parish Council have locked the car park gates to both Peel Park and South Lane Meadow on a temporary basis, due to notification that there is currently an unauthorised encampment in the area.

“We apologise for the inconvenience. The gates will be reopened as soon as possible."
