South Downs Funeral Service was delighted to support the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations at the Clanfield Community Festival on Sunday and raise funds for The Prince’s Trust.

As in previous events, the local funeral service filled their new Jaguar XJ limousine with hundreds of balls - footballs, play pit balls and beach balls. Visitors to the South Downs Funeral stand were asked to guess how many balls it took to fill the limousine.

Although no one reached the exact total of 634 balls – there were two very close guesses and these winners, one child and one adult, will be contacted today. The competition raised £56.00 and this amount has been matched by South Downs Funeral Service who will be donating £112.00 to The Princes Trust. https://www.princes-trust.org.uk/

Paul Lee-Bapty, Managing Director of South Downs Funeral Service said “What a great day! We were delighted to see so many new faces, as well as meeting those we have helped over the last few years, since being in the village. We were thrilled to be part of this popular community event to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee and support The Prince’s Trust.”

Please contact us at South Downs Funeral Service for community involvement.
