New Therapist! introducing...Sophie Grimes

We are very pleased to announce that the Advance SRM Therapies team is expanding once again! This time we are bringing on board Sophie, who alongside offering Soft Tissue Therapy, will also be our Rehab Therapist. Sophie will be working closely with both John and Jo, and as a team they will be providing the best suitable treatment for each client.

Sophie starts with us from Monday 11th July and her availability is found on our online portal.

To find out more about Sophie - keep reading for her full biog.

Sophie Grimes is a local therapist who John (Director) has known for a number of years. She has a sporting background and has grown up loving sport: she was a competitive swimmer until the age of 15, however moved onto trampolining and became a qualified coach but when injury struck she focussed her passion for rehabilitation. Sophie graduated from St Mary’s University, Twickenham as a Sports Rehabilitator. She has been treating clients in Waterlooville and Godalming, and has built a great reputation.

Sophie says: ‘I love to be able to help find a diagnosis for people if they’re struggling to find the root cause of the problem, as well as helping decrease their symptoms and support them through their rehabilitation process’.

Using her skills, she also volunteers at St Richards Hospital in Chichester where she supports the rehabilitation of those with neurological conditions. This can be anything from a brain injury following an accident, through to stroke victims. She works with them to regain control over their body and assists them to move more generally to prevent muscle wastage.

Sophie will be providing a range of treatments at Advance SRM Therapies including soft tissue therapy, sports massage, deep tissue massage, cupping, injury assessment and rehabilitation. Sophie is also able to provide dry needling and clinical acupuncture, however whilst we ensure we have the correct licenses, we will not be able to offer this service immediately. As soon as this service is available, we will make an announcement.

NEW Cancellation Policy.

Due to our growing staff commitments, more demand for our services and the impact of last minute cancellations, it has become necessary to create a formal cancellation policy to ensure we are covering our basic costs. Last minute cancellations also impact other clients, who may be waiting to see someone and are in pain.

Our Cancellation Policy
Advance SRM Therapies endeavours to provide the best care possible to all of our clients. We understand that cancellations are often for genuine reasons, however we ask clients to also appreciate that we incur costs for late cancellations, as we still need to pay our therapists for their time committed.

To help you remember you have an appointment we do send reminder text messages. We ask clients to give at least 24 hours notice if they have to cancel an appointment. Advance SRM Therapies will charge 50% of the full price of the session for late cancellation after this time or for non-attendance. If you need to cancel or amend your appointment, you can inform us via return of your reminder message, through email to or by calling 07576 322879.

If we are able to book you a different time on that day or are able to replace you with an alternative client on our waiting list, we will waive the cancellation fee. Please be aware if you are late for the session you will be charged the full price but your treatment time will be reduced as it is unfair to run into the next client’s time slot.

If you have any questions about these changes, or anything else, please do get in touch via email -

Thanks and best wishes,
John and Jess Hughes
