If you thought that Clanfield was a quiet sort of place with not much happening, especially in the summer holidays, then you are in for a surprise from now until the end of August. Peel Park in Chalton Lane is going to be the HQ for free events for all ages every Wednesday from 1 – 4pm. http://www.clanfieldonline.com/14/992/free-summer-activities-in-peel-park
You can try your luck at Lazer Tag with Jungle Bunnies on Wednesday 17 August or shake it about with Hula Shaker’s Hula Hooping sessions on 24th of this month. Finally, Top Banana will be letting you into the secrets of Circus Skills on Wednesday 31 August. These activities are open to all ages so come along, bring a picnic, have a laugh and make some friends.
Who is bringing all these free activities for you to try? Hampshire Police and East Hants District Council are organising these events with Radian covering the costs. What a great way to bring everyone in our community together to have some fun, a picnic and maybe make new friends here too.
And if that isn’t enough to keep you busy this summer we have the big Skate Jam on August Bank Holiday to look forward to! From 3 – 7pm on Monday 29 August there will be food, drink and music to enjoy while some serious stuff is going on in our new Skate Park. Skate, scoot, inline and BMX jams will be taking place - all abilities welcome with even prizes being awarded. http://www.clanfieldonline.com/14/563/skate-jam
Clanfield is still a peaceful place to live – but perhaps a bit more exciting than you expected at first glance. Come along to these free events and join in the fun.
