Helen’s main practice is as a Bowen Therapist.  Qualifying in 2003 she is an experienced practitioner and has helped people of all ages, with a wide variety of conditions.

The Bowen Technique uses a series of precise, gentle rolling moves over soft tissue, which has been observed to have a positive effect on a range of ailments including:

  • Back Pain and Sciatica
  • Frozen Shoulder and tennis elbow
  • Sports or work related injuries
  • Asthma and Hayfever
  • Chronic Fatigue or general tiredness, stress and tension
  • Headaches, Migraines and Sinus pain

Many clients have also reported an improvement in:

  • Quality of sleep
  • Mood elevation
  • Ability to concentrate and focus
  • General ability to cope, especially with stressful situations
  • Relaxation

The treatment can be performed through light clothing, is non-intrusive and with no manipulation. 

Helen also offers a range of therapeutic massage treatments, for sports injury, aching muscles and joints, or general relaxation.  She only uses natural oils for massaging (ie no petrochemicals, parabens or artificial fragrances).

Her treatment room in Horndean is quiet, comfortable and relaxing.
