Clanfield Parish Council is looking for an enthusiastic and confident person to undertake this voluntary role.
At a Parish Council Meeting held on the 2 September a request was made for a village volunteer to help organise this year’s “Carols Around the Village Pond” event.
Traditionally this well attended event, now in its tenth year, is held on a Friday evening in the approach to Christmas. It was originally started by the Clanfield Parish Council as a thank you to village volunteers for re-engineering the ancient village pond and due to its popularity has continued ever since.
The Parish Council have expressed a willingness to continue to provide support for an event organised on similar lines to the past, but wish to stress that that the task is time consuming and requires detailed co-operation with the other organisations involved.
Anyone wishing to help is asked to contact the Parish Clerk Diane Duffy
