The team at The Rising Sun have been busy putting together a list of great events for December.

Friday 18th December - THE GLITTER BUGZ LIVE (9PM) 

 Glam Rock returns to The Rising Sun in the shape of this fabulous band with their renditions of all of the favourites from the 70's period and of course Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without some Gary Glitter would it!?. 

Saturday 19th December - GINA ON THE PIANO (8PM) 

 Relax in style to the sounds of Gina on the piano in the bar. Gina plays a wide range of music to suit your various tastes and we quite often end up having a good ole sing-a-long. 

Friday 24th December - CHRISTMAS EVE 

 Entertainment is provided by the Woody Rock and Roll Band this Year starting at 9pm. The Woodies as they are affectionately known are great entertainers and good to dance along to too. Just right for Christmas Eve. We don't charge for entry on Christmas Eve 

Monday 28th December - CHRISTMAS QUIZ (9PM) 

 It's become a bit of a tradition that we always run a quiz in the week between Christmas and New Year. It's an ideal way of chilling out after the stresses of Christmas itself and we put some extra features in just to add to the Occasion. As with all of our Bank Holiday quizzes there is a free prize draw for all the quiz participants (you must be over 18 to receive the prize!) 

Thursday 31st December - NEW YEARS EVE GALA - Starts at 7PM 

We finish off the year in style with our New Years Eve Gala with a special sit down meal, entertainment, the Festive Prize Draw and a Glass of bubbly to welcome in the New Year itself.
