Come and help us set a new World Record on Saturday 11 July 2015.
Record Breakers is the theme for the 2015 Summer Reading Challenge.
As part of this year’s challenge Hampshire Libraries are joining the Reading Agency to set a Guinness World Record title for the most pledges received for a reading campaign.
We are encouraging children, young adults and adults (everyone!) to come and help us in this record attempt by making a pledge to read and encourage children to enjoy 6 books over the summer. http://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/
Come along to Waterlooville Library on Saturday 11 July between 9am and 3pm to make a pledge – it is quick and easy to complete.
Last year over a quarter of all children aged between 4 and 11 in Hampshire took part in the Summer Reading Challenge. We need to do all we can to increase this number.
So parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, aunties and uncles rush down to Waterlooville Library and sign the pledge to encourage children to read and enjoy the magic of books over the summer. http://www3.hants.gov.uk/library-waterlooville
