Come along to The Rising Sun and take part in the World’s Biggest Pub Quiz on Sunday 7 February from 7.30pm.

The Rising Sun is taking part in Pub Aid’s world record attempt  - in conjunction with the Guinness Book of Records - for the World’s biggest ever Pub Quiz.  Every year pubs in the UK raises over £100 Million for charities and good causes,  which just goes to prove what an important role local pubs and inns like those in Clanfield play, as part of the Community.

 Whilst we are trying to break a World Record, the main emphasis is to raise money for charity and of course to have a lot of fun at the same time.

For this event we will be raising money for the Rowans Hospice and there will be a Just Giving page set up for donations as well as the money we make on the night itself.

The main thing for now for all Clanworthians is to get this date in your diaries!
